Coy Morgan and Andrew Kerns proudly represented our firm at the 21st Annual Dallas Bar Association Family Law Section Golf Tournament

On Friday, October 24th, Coy Morgan and Andrew Kerns proudly represented our firm at the 21st Annual Dallas Bar Association Family Law Section Golf Tournament, held at the scenic Stevens Park Golf Course. The tournament supports the specialty courts of Dallas County, which play a vital role in helping families and individuals find stability and second chances through the justice system. Though heavy rain the night before threatened to wash out the event, the skies cleared just in time for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to giving back to the local legal community.

KLL was also proud to serve as a hole sponsor for the tournament, joining other firms and organizations in supporting this wonderful cause. The day was filled with laughter, networking, and the occasional wayward golf ball—but spirits stayed high from the first tee to the final putt. Coy and Andrew represented our firm well, reminding everyone that while our golf game might need a little work, our enthusiasm and dedication to our community are always right on par.

The Stephens Greth Foundation Campus

The SPCA of Texas has launched a $31 million capital campaign entitled “Care Unleashed” dedicated to expanding its Dallas-area campus and significantly increasing its capacity to serve pets and families across North Texas.  The new expansion—designed to nearly double the annual reach from around 50,000 to nearly 100,000 animals and families—will include a cutting-edge veterinary medical facility, advanced behavioral and rescue services, and dedicated spaces for high-volume animal intakes stemming from cruelty investigations and disaster responses.

Set to open in late 2026 at the organization’s current West Dallas location, the project will feature the newly named Stephens Greth Foundation Campus and three major buildings: the care and recovery center, the Dallas Animal Care Center, and the Russell E. Dealey Animal Rescue Center. Beyond sheltering and medical care, the expansion also emphasizes keeping pets and families together by offering increased support services like spay/neuter programs, behavioral help, and financial-assistance resources.
